Liverpool superstar Salah was the standout player last season, netting 32 Premier League goals on his way to the being named the PFA Player of the Year.
The forward scored a staggering 303 points in FPL last term, eight more than the previous record-holder Luis Suarez.
For many FPL managers, Salah will be a certain pick for their teams.
And Fantasy Football Scout editor David Munday has explained why he believes the Egypt man will definitely be in his squad.
“I don’t think we can afford not to have him in our teams,” Munday said on the FPL Show.
“I’ve been saying for a few weeks, I don’t think I can sleep at night if I don’t have him in my team because I’d just be worried that he’s going to punish me.
“We saw what he did last season, I don’t think there’s any reason to believe that that couldn’t happen again.
“Things look really good at Liverpool, they’ve strenghthened well, I think he’s going to have another good season again.
“I think the key with him is just the high ownership.
“So many people have Mo Salah, for good reason, that if you don’t have him, the 50 per cent of people that do have him, they’re going to punish you if you don’t have him.”
FPL managers have until 7pm tonight to make the final changes to their team before the Premier League curtain-raiser as Manchester United host Leicester City at Old Trafford at 8pm.
Liverpool meanwhile, kick off their season against West Ham at Anfield on Sunday.
